Can People Still See Through Tinted Windows in My Home or Business?Daytime: Most reflective or dark tint films reduce visibility from the outside in, offering excellent daytime privacy. People outside will see a mirror-like reflection or darker glass, while you maintain a clear view from inside. Nighttime: When interior lights are on and it’s dark outside, visibility can be reversed, people may see in more easily. For night-time privacy, we recommend combining tint with blinds or curtains, or opting for frosted films.

What’s the legal tint limit in Queensland? For Vehicles Without Privacy Glass: Front Driver & Passenger Windows: Must allow at least 35% of light through (T35). Rear Windows (Behind Driver): Can be as dark as 20% VLT (T20), as long as your vehicle has side mirrors on both sides. Goods Vehicles: May have 0% VLT or more on rear windows if side mirrors are fitted. For Vehicles with Privacy Glass: Privacy glass (also known as factory tint) can have additional film applied—including clear. However, the combined tint must allow at least 20% VLT (T20) on the rear windows. We can help you choose a film that looks great, keeps out the heat, works effectively and stays compliant.
